Tivoli Audio has been making tabletop radios for years. However, this isn’t your typical transistor; this lineup produces some really impressive sounds in all shapes and sizes. The latest in that line is the Albergo wireless music system.

According to the company, the word “Albergo” means “boutique hotel” in Italian. We’re not sure how that translates to music, but maybe the word for wireless doesn’t sound as pretty.

However, wireless technology is really the hook here, since the Albergo can be paired with any Bluetooth-capable device. That way, you can stream audio right to the radio, without wires or dongles.

Other features include an LCD display for FM RDS text, an alarm, a sleep timer, and an integrated Real Time Clock that can keep accurate time during power outages.

“If your current music system features a dock or port that doesn’t fit your Bluetooth enabled device, then you just purchased an obsolete product,” says Tom DeVesto, Tivoli Audio’s founder, CEO and award-winning designer. “Just like our signature Tivoli Audio radios, the Albergo is designed to keep pace with ever-changing technology and is simple to use, with high-fidelity sound, and beautiful finishes.”

Available in white or graphite finishes, the Albergo is priced at $299.99 and comes with its own remote. Tivoli is also selling an optional matching speaker, if you want to turn the Albergo into a compact stereo system.
