Stylish colors, slim profile, Bluetooth 2.0 capability—we won’t tap Samsung’s new MP3 players with that horrid and overused “iPod killer” label, but they are definitely a solid alternative to the uber-popular device.

Both the YP-P2 and YP-T10 players will be available in September, with Samsung’s eye on design clearly demonstrated in the sleek look. The YP-P2 is only 0.4 inches thick; the YP-T10, just 0.3 inches. The YP-P2 comes in black, white and wine red; the YP-T10 in midnight black, white cloud and mystic purple.

And here’s the skinny on some of the portables’ other specs: the YP-P2 features a full touchscreen GUI, 16:9 widescreen of 3 inches, 480 x 272 display, 4 GB/8 GB storage, 3.0 ounce weight, MP3/WMA audio support, WMV9/MPEG4 video support, FM tuner, clock, Digital Natural Sound engine (DNSe), voice recording, JPG images, sleep timer and auto-off.

The YP-P10 features a 2.0-inch screen, 240 x 320 display, 4 GB storage, 1.5 ounce weight, MP3/WMA audio, WMV9/MPEG4 video, FM tuner, clock, DNSe, voice recording and JPG images.
