Sony Sells Bond-Branded Gear

VAIO TX

Sony is offering electronics that allow you to get shaken, stirred and souped up like 007.

Before “Casino Royale” hits theaters, Sony wants to sell you a lot of Bond-branded booty.

Don’t expect a Happy Meal, but your mouth might water over 007-endorsed VAIO TX and UX series ultra-portable PCs, Cyber-shot digital cameras and Micro-Vault media storage devices.

Sadly, none of the devices implode, have knives that eject out of the sides or even make fries. They do, however, sport the 007 logo. The PCs will also come preloaded with some content from the movie. But if you’re already planning on buying any of these devices, do you really need to be further sold on the film?

The gear is exclusive to Sony’s online store and Sony Style retail shops. “Casino Royale” hits theaters on November 17.

  • All available November 10
  • 007 Cyber-shot DSC-T50: $600
  • 007 MicroVault: $60
  • Can be purchased as a bundle for $3,200 to $3,900
  • Each product is numbered and comes with a COA
