Looking at some of the latest electronics, but can’t quite pull the trigger on a purchase? You may want to stop by a local retailer this weekend. From May 2 to 4, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) is hosting its annual Demo Days event.
Demo Days aims to give consumers an up-close peek at the latest in audio and video. Just show up at one of the participating retailers across the United States, and you’ll be able to see, hear and try Ultra HD TVs, smart TVs, high-resolution audio, and more. In addition to seeing products, you can also check out product demos. There will also be staff on hand to answer any specific questions you may have, as well as to help pick out products that fit your needs and budget.
The CEA says that this year’s event will focus on showing consumers how to get the most out of their TV, especially when it comes to tapping into smart features, such as social media platforms and websites.
“CEA Demo Days is a great way to experience firsthand the latest technologies for TV viewing, movie watching and music listening,” said Allyson Pahmer, director of member programs at CEA. “These new products and technologies are truly something you need to see and hear to believe.”
Nearly 200 retailers across the country will take part in this year’s Demo Days event, which is almost twice as many as last fall. To find out more about what products and demonstrations will be available at the event, as well as participating locations in your area, check out the 2014 Demo Days website.
