Still stumped on what to get loved ones for Christmas? Stuff those stockings with a SoundBag.

The SoundBag is a portable bag that packs in flat-speaker technology. Hook up your iPod or other MP3 player, and you can torture with your taste in music—all while on the go.

Since it’s flat, it doesn’t take up much space, meaning you can still carry plenty of gum, magazines or whatever business props you may need. It even has a spot for your portable, right on the shoulder strap. The speaker also detaches and can be used as a stand-alone unit for other audio sources.

Overall, it’s hard to imagine that anything “audiophile”-quality would come out of the Sharper Image. It’s not like declaring bankruptcy makes you rock harder. However, the new product is actually made by The EnE Group, which, well… doesn’t mean anything to us.

Still, it’s a nice little novelty item for the holidays. If you’re willing to tempt fate, the SoundBag is available now for $99 at major retailers including Macy’s, Dillard’s and Navy Exchange Stores.
