When building a new home theater, wood paneling probably isn’t on the “gimme” list for most people. However, this homeowner wanted to keep some of that rustic look—and called in Maryland’s Gramophone to make it happen.

Before the construction, the room included the aforementioned wood paneling, a tiled drop ceiling, and all sorts of knickknacks around the room. Gramophone decided to keep some of the wood paneling and combine it with other warm colors and decor. The one other thing that they kept was the homeowner’s prized 60-inch Pioneer Elite KURO TV.

Gramophone made that piece the room’s focal point, but created a whole new floor-plan that would make the space more conducive to watching that big screen. The end result features 10 dedicated theater seats, as well as a spot for the homeowner to entertain family and friends.

Completed back in 2011, the homeowner has since asked Gramophone to take on the home’s office and exercise spaces, the family room, and even the laundry room. To see more of this finished room, check out our “Revamped Home Theater Keeps Rustic Look” slideshow.
