Just last month, we got the chance to test out a few pieces from the Pure Audio Jongo lineup. Now, the family is expanding.

The company just announced two new wireless speakers. Even better, they’re unleashing the Pure Connect on-demand service that we teased in our review.

First, let’s take a peek at the Jongo T2 and Jongo T6, the two new wireless multiroom speakers. These models come in different sizes with different mounting options. In other words, they should most certainly fit into any room and any application.

The T6 has dual concentric loudspeakers and two 5.25-inch full range drivers, as well as an MSRP of $349 each. Designed for everyday listening, the Jongo T2 can deliver Class D audio through 3-inch mid-range drivers. This option is listed with an MSRP of $149 each. Amazon has already started taking pre-orders for both, with plans to start shipping sometime in October.

Pure Connect, however, is coming in September. This is Pure Audio’s own music streaming service, which includes millions of music tracks on-demand. The Pure Connect Green option is free and offers access to over 20,000 radio stations and 200,000 free on-demand programs and podcasts. Pure Connect Blue allows subscribers to stream over 15 million tracks on-demand, for $4.99 per month. The Pure Connect Violet option will allow listeners to download playlists to mobile devices, for offline playback on the go, all for $9.99 per month.

“We know that customers are looking for the convenience that wireless streaming offers with high quality audio that a system like Jongo provides,” said Noam Meppen, Pure’s director of sales in the U.S. “We have designed Jongo to be as flexible as possible with a range of colors and sizes to suit different rooms and a variety of ways to mount and position the speakers so they fit seamlessly into the home environment. It’s also important to us that our customers can find, discover and enjoy any music they want, which is why we’ve added the music service to Pure Connect giving users the choice to listen to what they want, when they want, wherever they are; a truly versatile combination.”

As with all Jongo speakers, the T2 and T6 can be paired for stereo sound. Each one is also compatible with Pure’s Connect app for iOS and Android devices. Optional stands and mounting accessories are also available and sold separately.
