A free software upgrade for 3D Vision owners will be available to support 3D video decoding and output over the latest HDMI spec.
Sink a couple of Benjamins into an Nvidia 3D Vision system in the last year? Getting a little worried whether it would play nice with the new 3D Blu-ray spec and HDMI 1.4?
Turns out you’re in luck, as all 3D Vision owners will receive a free upgrade to the new 3DTV Play software supporting full hardware decoding of 3D video and output over HDMI 1.4 in 1080p24, 720p60 (gaming spec), and 720p50.
Didn’t invest in 3D Vision but have a compatible Nvidia video card? You can grab the 3DTV Play software for $40 and use your display’s glasses.
