Nintendo Announces Black Friday Bundles

The new Nintendo DS units will be available in two new colors for a limited time.

The company is putting out two limited-edition DS versions for the holidays.

If you’re looking to add a little color under the tree this year, Nintendo wants to make it a red and/or blue holiday for you.

The manufacturer just announced two new Nintendo DS bundles for Black Friday. As if your Black Friday wasn’t going to be scary enough, expect to see shoppers scurry for one of the limited edition versions.

The Mario Red Nintendo DS will include a fire-engine-red handheld, with an M emblazoned to label you the Mario master. It also comes with a copy of “New Super Mario Bros.” Brainiacs can go for the Ice Blue Nintendo DS, which includes the game “Brain Age.” Each bundle will sell for a respectable $149.99.

“Nintendo DS is both the most affordable and the most popular video game system in this generation,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo’s executive VP of sales & marketing. “These limited-edition bundles make great gifts for first-time Nintendo DS players and collectors alike.”
