The AMD LIVE! notebook PC powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile technology packs the same media center features as the AMD LIVE! desktop PC into a notebook for today’s mobile lifestyle. Access to digital media outside the home, plus the ability to manage content or schedule TV program recordings remotely with the AMD LIVE! Entertainment Suite, allows you to take media wherever you go.

The AMD LIVE! Home Cinema is a home entertainment system that consolidates audio/visual devices and related remote controls into an all-in-one “living room” solution. Powered by AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core processors, it boasts a theater-quality media experience with high-definition video, integrated 100 watt per channel surround sound audio and Internet capability in a CE form factor.

The AMD LIVE! Home Media Server, powered by Windows Home Server software, is a platform design enabling various OEM systems to help those of you with multiple home PCs to easily store, share and automatically protect digital media. It promises centralized control over functions such as secure back-up of digital media and other critical PC files; parental controls for all devices connected to the home network; printer sharing between multiple PCs; and streaming stored music, videos or television programs to other devices on the network. This platform design also enables support of potential future services such as home security monitoring, telephony and automated home control.

At CES, HP recently announced the HP MediaSmart Server, which incorporates the AMD LIVE! Home Media Server platform design and Microsoft’s new Windows Home Server software. AMD LIVE! desktop PCs are also available.
