More Recycling Drop-offs in 2009

MRM Recycling will have 400 sites by the end of this year.

Sharp, Panasonic and Toshiba expand program nationwide.

The big companies at CES 2009 are talking up their electronics recycling efforts, which is a good thing for us consumers looking to rid ourselves of old electronics in a responsible manner.

MRM Recycling, the joint effort between Sharp, Panasonic and Toshiba, has expanded nationally, to have 250 drop-off locations across the United States, and at least one in each state.

According to Panasonic, MRM will have 400 sites by the end of 2009, 600 by the end of 2010, and 800 by the end of 2011.
