Lately, Monster has been all about rocking the Dr. Dre (and friends), when it comes to the company’s audio releases. Now they are going really old-school and just releasing a speaker under the Monster brand.

The new product has quite a lengthy name: the ClarityHD Model One High Definition Multi-Media Speaker Monitor. Designed for use anywhere you could use a little sound, the ClarityHD Model One has 6.5-inch bass drivers with 4-layer voice coils and proprietary soft-dome tweeters.

Monster is sort of pushing this as a one-stop solution, offering both a digital amplifier and an iPod dock built into a bookshelf-sized speaker. Other features include a mini-jack input, a balanced 1/4-inch TRS input, and RCA inputs. Also, the company is including a StreamCast Port for future add-ons, including Monster’s own upcoming Bluetooth module.

If you’re into matching speakers to your room or mood, Monster will offer the ClarityHD Model One in a variety of colors. When the speaker launches this month, it will come in yellow and red. More color options will follow this fall.

Monster expects the ClarityHD Model One to start shipping in the next few weeks. The pair will have an MSRP of $749.95.
