Mitsubishi just made its new HC7800D 3D projector a little more enticing. The company just announced that they will throw in a free pair of 3D glasses with the purchase of the projector. The promotion will run through the end of 2011.

Priced at $2,999, the HC7800D has Texas Instruments’ latest DLP .065-inch DMD chip, a full 1080p HD resolution, and a 2D-to-3D conversion feature. It also has a fan that boasts just 23 dBa of noise in low mode.

Other features include 1500 lumens of brightness, a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, RS-232 support and HDMI-version 1.4 inputs. The company also says that the HC7800D has a lamp life of up to 5,000 hours in low mode, so you can run it for years before a lamp change is required.

“The HC7800D shows some of the best 3D images ever from a front projector,” says Wayne Kozuki, Mitsubishi’s product manager. “It’s a hot model with our advanced proprietary technology added to our full line of 3D large screen displays.”

Oh—and you should be able to experience those 3D images right away, thanks to the free pair of glasses. Extras will run you $199 pair, making this a nice little freebie. It also comes with a 3D emitter and Mitsubishi’s two-year limited warranty on parts and labor.
