Media Decor’s Eclipse Art Lift
It’s almost a mantra given by customers to some A/V installers: We want flat-panel TVs, great-sounding speakers, and high-performance electronics, and we don’t want to see any of it.
In the TV category, that’s becoming much more of a common solutions, thanks to a combination of flatter flat-panel TVs, motorized lifts and dropdown screens, and more art and architectural concealment solutions. Media Decor, which came out with its Original Art Lift just a couple of months ago, saw such a response to it that the company has come right back with a second art lift solution—the Eclipse Art Lift.
The product is the first one Media Decor has produced with a Lutron Electronic Drive Unit (EDU), and anyone who knows Lutron can attest that the company knows its stuff when it comes to quiet motorized products—case in point, its Sivoia QED electronic shade system.
Media Decor says its new Eclipse Art Lift for hiding your wall-mounted flat-panel TV runs quietly, smoothly and accurately, with a noise level of 44 dBA (little more than a typical living room) and precision to .0625-inch.
The system comes with a Silent Lift platform with needle bearing guides, Lutron IR remote control and receiver, Integral Lutron QED Drive Unit, two machined rack/pinion rails, and two adjustable mounting crossbars.
According to the retail pricing listed on the website, Eclipse lifts range from $5,450 to $5,750.
