We can’t always put AV components where we want them. However, when you try to stretch those signals, the end result doesn’t always deliver the best image possible. That’s why Key Digital has debuted the KD-CATHD300Lite HDBT/HDMI Extender.

As part of the company’s FatCat Series, this model is designed for use with long CAT6/STP cable runs—the kind that can impede digital video signal transmission.

The KD-CATHD300Lite can extend 1080p/60, 1920-by-1200 and 3D signals up to 250 feet, if you pair it with Key Digital’s Super CAT6 Shielded Cabling (model KD -CAT6STP1X). If you’re using some other type of Cat6/STP cable, the company promises 200 feet.

It also supports IR, RS-232 and HDBaseT technology, as well as built-in EDID control. Contact Key Digital for more information and extender pricing.
