JVC has four new projectors and some new slim LCD TVs for our enjoyment.

Let’s start with the awesome projectors: the DLA-HD750 and DLA-HD350 (to be marketed to consumers), and the DLA-RS20 and DLA-RS10 (for installers). The DLA-HD750 and DLA-RS20 are both THX Certified with 30,000:1 native contrast ratio. The HD750 and RS20 will also feature THX Movie Mode, a pre-calibrated video setting for watching movies on DVD, Blu-ray HD or broadcast television.

Features shared by all four projectors include:

  • High-performance 2x motorized zoom lens
  • Customized on-screen gamma control
  • Flexible set-up

All projectors will be made available in November. The DLA-HD350 and DLA-RS10 will be priced under $6,000, while the DLA-HD750 and DLA-RS20 will be priced under $8,000.

Along with many other manufacturers, JVC is slimming down its LCD TVs. The LT-42SL89 and LT-46SL89 Procision series feature a cabinet that across most of its width measures 1.5 inches deep, with a maximum depth of just 2.9-inches at the panel’s center.

The super-slim design will be available in 42-inch ($1,899) and 46-inch ($2,399) sizes. Both offer 1920 x 1080p resolution.
