Just about every audio manufacturer is making a soundbar these days. Jamo doesn’t want to be left out of the mix, so the company is putting its stylish spin on the category with the newly announced Jamo Torsten.

The Torsten is Jamo’s first-ever soundbar. It’s designed for listeners looking for Jamo style and sound, without having to devote an entire room to speaker cabinets.

The Torsten package includes a two-way soundbar and a 10-inch wireless subwoofer. The speakerbar includes two 0.75-inch soft dome tweeters and four 3-inch long-throw woofers. The sub is designed to perfectly match the speaker, and pairs with it automatically for a total of 250 watts of sound.

Of course, the Torsten isn’t just designed to give your TV’s audio a boost. It also works with a variety of portable devices, via wireless Bluetooth technology. It even has NFC built in, so users can pair the speaker with compatible smartphones and tablets with a gentle tap.

Other features include a digital optical input, built-in Dolby Digital decoding, and remote learning capability so you can use an existing controller to tap into the Torsten’s features.

Jamo is selling the Tortsten now, with an MSRP of $799.
