Integra’s THX-Certified Receivers Available
Integra’s DTR-7.9 A/V receiver
Integra's new DTR-7.9 ($1,300) and DTR-6.9 ($1,000) A/V receivers include THX certification, Audyssey room correction and plenty of HDMI inputs.
Need to upgrade your A/V receiver to accommodate that new Blu-ray player and HDTV package you just got? Maybe you’re adding a pair of side speakers to bump up to 7.1 surround?
Try one of Integra’s now-shipping THX-certified A/V receivers on for size. The DTR-7.9 is THX Ultra2 Plus certified, and will fill your large media room with 130 watts per channel; the DTR-6.9 receiver is THX Select2 Plus certified and doles out 100 watts per channel.
You’ll be able to throw all of your high-def video sources at it, and enjoy them on your new plasma or LCD in 1080p through the Faroudja DCDi Cinema HDMI upscaling.
The DTR-7.9 includes five HDMI 1.3a inputs, while the DTR-6.9 has four of them. Component video gets upscaled to 1080i.
On the audio side, your Blu-ray player will shine through with the Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding from the Integras, and you can tweak ‘em to your room conditions with Audyssey’s multEQ room correction technology and Dynamic EQ circuitry. You also get THX Loudness Plus, which optimizes the listening at moderate and low volume levels, for those rare times when you don’t have a movie or concert DVD cranked.
The receivers also include a second zone capability, or you can bi-amp your big front-channel speakers. The DTR-7.9 and DTR-6.9 are available now at $1,300 and $1,000, respectively.
