Dance Floor Makes an Instant House Party

If this room is a-rockin', it's because the installer catered to the homeowner's desire for a dance-club atmosphere.

If this homeowner has children, he might want to install a few hidden cameras for the times that the kids are home alone. With a built-in dance area that would rival the club scene, this room would be the perfect party spot.

Thankfully, the installer had experience in commercial sound and lighting.

First came the aluminum trusses, which were attached to the floor trusses. Then the sound and lights were attached, and brought to a local rack location. Everything was tied into an AMX touchpanel, which made the system easy to control.

As a final touch, a Karaoke player with a wireless microphone and a 42-inch plasma display was added. This way once the party starts, no one will miss a minute of the action!
