Over the years, every cable and satellite company has offered some type of digital video recorder option. Still, TiVo keeps hanging strong.

Most TiVo customers have a loyalty to the service. The interface, the Season Pass, and the search across TV, the DVR and the web are all perks that TiVo customers swear by. Want to add your swearing to that list? Today could be your day.

We found the TiVo Premiere Elite HD DVR listed on Woot for just $299.99. This is a one-day deal, slashing $100 off the list price of this DVR.

The TiVo Premiere Elite is one of the company’s top models. It has four digital tuners, so you can record four shows at once—while watching a fifth recorded program, of course. (You know you want to do that!)

EHers will appreciate that this model has 1080p support, THX certification, and love for third-party controllers from Crestron, Control4, RTI and other popular control systems. If you don’t have one of those, there’s also a TiVo app available.

Other features include a 2TB hard drive, MoCA support, and web connectivity. You’re going to want that networking, too, to access web content from Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, YouTube, Hulu Plus, Pandora, and more. (Additional fees and/or subscriptions may apply.)

Just know that this DVR only works with digital cable and Verizon FiOS. Unfortunately, it’s not compatible with satellite, OTA programming, or AT&T U-verse. Also know that once you actually have this TiVo box, you’re going to need a TiVo subscription. Those run $14.99 per month for the first box, $12.99 if this is the second TiVo you are adding into your arsenal. There are also lifetime subs available for $499.99 (knock $100 off if this is your second TiVo box). Keep all of that in mind!

Another thing to remember: This is a one-day deal. The offer will expire at the end of the day today (Wednesday, June 13, 2012) or whenever Woot runs out of stock.
