Did you know that Redbox has video games? If you’ve passed by a kiosk, you’ve probably seen a gamer or two frothing over those cheap rentals.

Now you can add yourself to that group. Redbox is offering free game rentals from now through Thursday, March 1, 2012. Don’t get too excited; this is a one-time, single rental offer. In other words, don’t expect to load up on every title available and not pay something.

The number of available titles is also limited. At last peek, there were 31 eligible options, which includes titles for the Wii, the PS3 and the Xbox 360. So it’s not anything your heart desires. However, we found Twisted Metal, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Just Dance 3, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3— and the price is certainly right.

Just know that you’ll need to reserve the title online with a credit card first, just in case you decide to keep that disc for an extra day or two.
