Still don’t have a tablet or some type of eReader? Your patience is about to be rewarded. Whether you’re looking to dip into the world of tablets, need an upgrade, or just want to get someone a gift, there are many tablet options to consider.

However, we found one that comes with a little bonus gift. If you buy the Barnes and Noble Nook 8GB Tablet at Office Depot, it comes with a VISA gift card valued at $50. This card is actually available through a mail-in rebate, but it can be used on anything—not just Nook-related purchases. When you factor in the rebate, this purchase is just $149.99, which is $50 off the list price.

This is the 8GB version of the Nook, but there’s also a microSD slot to expand the storage up to 32GB. Other features include a 7-inch VividView touchscreen, 512MB RAM, built-in WiFi and a 1GHz dual-core processor.

Of course, it can also tap into over 2.5 million reading choices, including best sellers and magazines. If you’re not much of a reader, this is still a good purchase, since it comes packing Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, and plenty of other apps. There are tons of other options to choose from, too, via the Google Play store.

If you want to score the $50 rebate, you’re going to have to purchase the tablet by June 2, 2012. That’s soon! From there, just make sure that your rebate request is postmarked by June 23.
