Last year’s Best Integrated Home of the Year: $50,000 or more from Starr Systems Design in Baltimore featured this home theater.
Are you a custom electronics pro with a “wow” project that your company has completed during the past year?
The deadline for Electronic House’s annual Home of the Year Awards is today, February 22, so make sure you are gathering photos, equipment lists and project descriptions to submit for the competition. (Please note, the awards are not for homeowner submissions.)
If you are a manufacturer, give your pros a nudge by assisting them with the process and making them aware of the awards - as we’ve heard from winning custom integrators over the years, the articles and print and online publicity from the Electronic House editorial team make for great marketing collateral (and nice framed article reprints for your showrooms).
And all it takes is roughly the cost of a Blu-ray player to enter for a chance at all that exposure—the Home of the Year Awards articles (you can see last year’s winners here) are among our most popular stories online, to go with their inclusion in the May/June issue of Electronic House as well as certain categories being highlighted in subsequent issues throughout the year.
Some of your CE pro peers who have submitted, or are in the process of submitting, projects include One Sound Choice, DSI Entertainment Systems, BCG Concepts, CBA Technology, HTLI, Cinemar, Concept Electronics, Eco High Fidelity, Audio Impact, Hi-Tech Home, Home Concepts, Innerspace Electronics, Moore Audio Design, Erskine Group, simpleHome, Osbee Industries, Total Home Audio and Video, and Union Place, to name a handful.
Here’s a reminder of what the categories are:
