There are a lot of commercials on regular radio. Of course, you could just flip the station. However, with Hammacher Schlemmer’s 45,000 Station Car Radio, you could spend every minute of a cross-country drive finding other options.

The 45,000 Station Car Radio is pretty self-explanatory, promising an endless journey of entertainment options. Don’t expect to get stations from Saturn or anything. However, it does use the power of your iPhone to find stations from AM, FM and all over the web.

Just plug the radio right into your car’s 12-volt power socket. Then, the radio will connect to your iPhone via Bluetooth. Download the radio’s free accompanying app to search through thousands of radio stations, offering music, talk, news, and more. Once you find a few favorites, the app can store six presets and even recommend other stations based on what you’re listening to. It also works with Pandora and Stitcher, and can even transmit the music stored on your smartphone to your car’s speakers.

If 45,000 radio stations weren’t enough, the car radio also offers hands-free calling, allowing you to make and take calls right through the radio’s built-in microphone and those same car speakers.

“The 45,000 Station Car Radio brings unprecedented access to worldwide radio stations—all without requiring a monthly service fee like satellite radio,” explained Fred Bern, Hammacher Schlemmer’s GM.

Hammacher Schlemmer currently has the 45,000 Station Car Radio selling for $99.95.
