When done right, a green home is a total commitment… to proper materials, proper recycling, proper energy management, but that doesn’t mean you have to go without a high-tech lifestyle. This beautiful home in a gated beach community is proof of that. The consumer electronics (CE) pros Rolling Thunder Group, were involved in every aspect of this green remodel project including the A/V Systems, Network, Solar, Design & Construction.

Green was the theme throughout, beginning with the planning, and executed throughout the project. The home features ultra-violet tinted windows, non-voc (volatile organic compounds) paint, high-efficiency lighting and HVAC, cradle-to-cradle certified carpet pad and organic wool carpet.

In addition to state-of-the-art eco design, the home includes state-of-the-art electronic such as Runco plasma and NuVision LED LCD TVs, Integra sound system, Speakercraft TIME and AIM speakers, and an RTI control system. However, all those electronics are offset by the solar energy system.
