Bros before hos! IT geeks were on-hand this weekend, helping men to weasel out of "Sex and the City."

How much does the Geek Squad know about “Sex?” A lot more than you’d think.

Best Buy’s merry band of IT nerds swooped into major cities on Friday to save men everywhere and get themselves a hearty dose of publicity in the process. The company had members out in full force on Friday to hand out “survival kits” to husbands and boyfriends who had to endure “Sex and the City” on the big screen.

The company posted agents in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles to pass out quarters for the multiplex arcade and a list of excuses to get out of the movie. The gimmick was kind of cute and kind of cheesy.

I have to agree with Crave, though—the best possible excuse is, “I have testosterone!” That’s right, fellas. You take out the trash and mow the lawn, so it’s OK to say no. There are plenty of man things that I don’t want to do (although shopping for large TVs and playing video games doesn’t fall on that list).

I’d probably want a few of those quarters for myself. However, if I really wanted to see the movie, adding chest hair into the equation would just knock my high heels and girlie giddiness down a peg.
