Keep track of your CDs, DVDs, games and books with this handy, but slightly pricey media organizer.

I lent my brother my “Freaks and Geeks” DVD set, and if he thinks I’ve forgotten, he’s sadly mistaken. However, there are a slew of CDs and other DVDs that I’ve lent out over the years, and I just don’t know who took what (you thieves!).

Instead of handing out library cards to your friends, Flic can make being ####-retentive fun.

This handy gadget can scan the barcodes on your DVDs, CDs and games. It’s like the video store job you’ve never had—and won’t get paid for. Gearlog says it also comes with software to keep track of where each item is and can even break thumbs, if necessary—if you hit someone with it hard enough.

At $200, this system is perfect for the person with an unwieldy entertainment collection. It can also scan that stack of books that you haven’t touched since high school.

  • $199.95
  • Scan, catalog and search music, movies, games & books
  • Includes Collectorz.com software
