We’ve got ourselves another iPod dock. Instead of just the set-it-and-forget-it desktop unit, Eos is throwing in a set of speakers and allowing you to rock the house wirelessly.

Well, they aren’t exactly throwing them in—the speakers are a $130 option. The Core system ($250) features one base unit and one speaker. That means you can rock out in at least two rooms. Add on others (up to four), as well as the deck or pool area, for the extra cash.

The base unit can house and charge any iPod or iPhone with a docking connector. Other audio sources, including a satellite radio, PC, and others, can connect via the auxiliary analog input.

Other highlights include SRS WOW! Technology, and a special design that allows you to hang the speakers right on the wall—without the need for additional hardware.

Looking at the design, I can’t help but think they are all communicating and talking about me. Either that, or I could see my son snapping those antennas off systematically.

The Eos system is available online from Best Buy, Costco, Circuit City, RadioShack and direct from Eos. Check out other shots of the product in the slideshow.
