Energizer’s AAAA batteries are available now for $1.75 per 2-pack.
With so many devices getting smaller, it was inevitable that disposable batteries would jump on the tiny bandwagon.
Instead of combing through all of those round batteries, Energizer is going with a familiar form factor—with the AAAA.
Weighing in at 6.5 grams, Energizer says that the new battery will work with Bluetooth headsets, noise-cancelling headsets, flash audio players and “other cutting-edge devices still in development.” That brings up an interesting question: Does anyone currently own electronics that use AAAA batteries?
Apparently the new Jabra BT2040 and the UEI Zapper both require AAAA batteries, but we’re not sure of anything else.
Still, you can start stocking up. Energizer’s AAAA battery is available now at Walgreen’s, Target, Best Buy, and other major retailers, for $1.75 per 2-pack.
