Earthquake Sound’s Thor in-wall subwoofer
Whether your room is tight on space or if you just don’t want a usually boxy subwoofer sticking out somewhere, Earthquake Sound has developed an in-wall subwoofer with versatility in mind.
Earthquake’s Thor in-wall sub has a mounting depth of 3.75 inches but still produces sub-harmonic bass down to 20 Hz without distortion or resonance, according to the company.
Priced at $999 MSRP, the Thor’s biggest attribute for homeowners might be its customizable appearance. It is shipped with two grilles—a perforated metal grille that is paintable and a custom cloth grille that allow for flexibility in an installation to help match with the room’s environment and color scheme.
Other features include a Neodymium subwoofer magnet, patented SLAPS passive radiator, frequency response of 20-160 Hz and dimensions of 27 x 17.5 x 3.75 inches.
