Double the Blu-ray Fun in Your HTPC
Okoro Media Systems’ OMS-BX300
Okoro Media Systems' new 2010 OMS-BX300 machine features dual Blu-ray drives and hot-swappable 2TB storage drives.
What could be better than a home theater PC (HTPC) or media server that doles out your high-def Blu-ray? How about two Blu-ray players?
Well, Blu-ray drives, at least, in the case of Okoro Media Systems fancy new 2010 OMS-BX300 64Bit Digital Entertainment System.
Already shipping despite its 2010 stamp, this one’s part of Okoro’s OMS Next Generation Series and has been optimized to let you send four different high-def streams around your home without interfering with your video recording desires, simultaneously.
The system is based on Intel i7 core processing, with the 920 Processor and 6GB 1333Mhz DDR3 Memory included. Microsoft’s Windows Vista Ultimate comes standard, but there’s a free upgrade to Windows 7.
Also standard are the dual Blu-ray drives to serve up your 1080p video and 7.1-channel LPCM audio via HDMI and the ATI Radeon HD 4850.
And not just dual Blu-ray drives, but there are also dual HD tuners, with a choice of digital cable or satellite.
Check the company’s website to customize your machine, so no room in your house is left high-def-less.
