ProjectorPeople.com has an already lowered price on Mitsubishi's HC5500 1080p projector, with a manufacturer's $300 rebate and replacement lamp, to boot.

ProjectorPeople.com always has some pretty sweet deals, but the latest one on a 1080p model from Mitsubishi is really tasty.

Unfortunately, it’s coming to a close at the end of the month, but at least there’s a little time left. The model is Mitsubishi’s HC5500 1080p LCD projector.

ProjectorPeople is already offering it at a reduced $1,799 price (down from $2,300), but throw in a manufacturer’s rebate for another $300 off and you’ve got yourself a very affordable, quality full HD 1920x1080 projector.

The icing on the cake is a free replacement lamp, too, so you’re saving a few hundred future bucks there.

You can expect solid HD images from the Hollywood Quality Video processor, a highlight among other specs that include:

• 1,200 lumens
