Don't let the name throw you, this is a full-featured set - perfect for the game room or starter home theater.

While you probably don’t recognize the brand, you’ll certainly appreciate the price. Not since Black Friday have I seen a 50-inch plasma for under $1k. And, from the specs and handful of reviews, this might actually be a decent TV.

This Element PLX5002B has 2 HDMI inputs, 2 Component inputs, 1 PC input, Digital noise reduction, built-in NTSC/ATSC tuners, a 15,000:1 contrast ratio and 720p (1366 x 768) resolution. Certainly not an over-the-top set, but perfect for the starter home theater, playroom, etc.

There are no details on when this deal end (typical of Circuit City), but if you’re eyeing a Vizio or the like, this offer is certainly worth looking into. If you already have this set, chime in and tell us know your opinion.
