Circuit City has recently launched a website and call center to help consumers with DTV concerns.

The company wants to help clear up consumer confusion regarding the DTV transition.

Still confused about the DTV transition? Circuit City wants to help.

Don’t jump in the car and expect a tutorial. The company just started a toll-free hotline to handle consumer concerns. The contact center is available at: 888-280-9382.

They will also be able to help out if you want to buy any government-approved digital TV converter boxes. I’m guessing they won’t be able to help with expired coupons, but they should be able to answer any other lingering questions you might have.

“We know the clock is ticking and in less than six months, most U.S. TV stations will switch from traditional analog signals to digital broadcasts,” said Brian S. Bradley, Circuit City’s senior VP of multi-channel endeavors. “People are eager to learn more about how the DTV switchover will affect them, and we believe our new contact center will be a valuable public information resource.”

Circuit City will allow consumers to redeem government converter box coupons over the phone, as well as explore other DTV options. The company also recently launched a website to accompany its DTV initiatives.
