For homeowners who want to change viewing angles, hide TVs and tinker with optimum speaker placement all with motorized convenience, Chief Manufacturing’s new Cinematic Series has addressed these issues with a variety of solutions.

The company’s Cinematic Series mounts offer programmable viewing angles, fast and fine-tuned viewing adjustments, solid steel construction and motorized remote operation, according to Chief.

Here’s the lineup:

  • CM1 Automated Swing Arm Mount (CM1W18): Designed for flat-panel displays up to 61 inches and 170 pounds, the mount includes three programmable pre-set viewing positions as it extends from the wall, and multiple mounting options on or recessed between 16-inch center studs. The mount extends 18 inches and swivels +/-50 degrees, and includes the company’s Q-Latch Mounting System for increased security, Chief says.
  • CM2 Automated Pop-up Lift (CM2L40): This lift for a flat-panel screen 61 inches and greater and up to 200 pounds allows users to raise or lower the display at over 2 inches per second. The lift provides up to 40 inches of travel with a stored height of only 31 inches, and Chief’s Auto Drive gliding system for quick and quiet adjustment, the company says.
  • CM3 Automated Swivel Table Stand (CM3T45): The table stand offers +/-45 degree automated swivel with optional stops at 15, 25 and 35 degrees. It has an integrated IR sensor for simplified installation and provides height adjustment of 5 inches for different screen heights, Chief says.
  • CM4 Automated Speaker Adapter (CM4S57): Keep your left/right/center speakers close to your flat-panel displays on the wall, either in tight with the display or extended out to 105 inches for a broader soundstage. The solution hides speaker wire and eliminates the need to cut into walls, the company says.
  • CM5 Automated Art Accessory (CM5V42): Hide your flat-panel in whatever piece of artwork you choose when you’re not watching TV. The CM5 provides quite movement and fits 32- or 42-inch flat-panel screens.
