Blockbuster Offers Free Movie Rentals

Looking to capture some of Netflix's subscribers, the rental chain is offering free in-store DVD rentals.

If you’re sick of paying high prices at your local Cineplex, try paying nothing. That’s right—to promote their Total Access service, Blockbuster launched a promotion to target their rival Netflix.

Just bring in the address flap of your Netflix mailer, and you’ll get a free rental. The sad thing is: you will have to get up off your lazy butt; it’s an in-store promotion.

Start saving up because the deal offers an unlimited number of rentals, but it’s only available until December 21.
