Home theaters can be a great escape. And themed home theaters are often the most astounding.

Sci-fi theaters, sports theaters, and home theaters dedicated to specific movies make us plain giddy.

So we’ve decided to round up our favorite themed home theaters of all-time. We’ve got a $70,000 Stargate theater, a Death Star theater, and a theater for all you hockey fans out there.

The attention to detail, memorabilia, and replication is incredible.

We still haven’t unveiled the Gold, Silver, and Bronze themed home theater winners from the 2010 Electronic House Home of the Year Awards. Look for those soon.
