Smaller spaces can have that big picture, too. BenQ is making it easy to add a projector into small- and medium-sized rooms, with the newly announced MW519.
As part of the company’s SmartEco line, the MW519 boasts 6,500 hours of lamp life. It also has a SmartEco mode, which automatically adjusts the lamp to maximize power savings and create the best image needed for your setting. Other eco-friendly features include a “no source detected” mode and an “Eco Blank” mode, which cuts power to 30 percent when a blank screen is detected.
As far as the video goodies, the MW519 has a 1280x800 resolution, 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 13000:1, and support for 3D Blu-ray and nVIDIA 3DTV PLAY. Other features include DLP BrilliantColor, an I/O port design, and a variety of input options.
“With our latest projectors, we’re combining effortless 3D connectivity with best in class lamp life to offer tremendous value to our customers—all at a fantastic price tag,” said Bob Wudeck, BenQ’s director of retail and e-commerce. “Our elegant, eco-friendly, and high-performing next-gen projectors allow users to enjoy a rich experience in any setting.”
BenQ will start selling the MW519 later this month. Expect to find it with an MSRP of $649.
