Bang & Olufsen is making their way into the world of 3D, and they aren’t exactly easing into it. They plan to go big with the company’s first 3D TV, the 85-inch BeoVision 4-85 plasma.

As with all things B&O, this is a nice looking product. However, not content to be pretty both inside and out, it also has to do something cool—you know, besides the HD and 3D. B&O has added a few motorized options. For instance, turn the TV on, and the screen will rise to its optimal viewing position and expose the BeoLab 10 center loudspeaker. From there, you can use the remote to turn and tilt the TV until your heart’s (and eyes) content. Turn it off, and the TV goes into hiding mode, making it less prominent in the room.

Less prominent? This looks like the type of TV you’d want to show off! If you want to mount it for all to see, the BeoVision 4-85 is also available as a screen-only solution.

Designed to use active shutter glasses, this set also boasts a high-grade aluminum frame, B&O’s own Automatic Colour Management, and that BeoLab 10 speaker, which packs in Acoustic Lens Technology.

Of course, B&O hasn’t announced pricing on the BeoVision 4-85 just yet. However, if B&O history has taught us anything, it’s that this one is probably going to cost you. If you don’t believe us, check out the video below.
