Audio Pro Adds Scandinavian Style to AirPlay Speaker
The Allroom Air One features both Apple AirPlay and DLNA support.
There are lots of AirPlay speakers out there. Now, Audio Pro is adding a bit of Scandinavian style into your selection process.
The Swedish company just announced the Allroom Air One, a single stereo speaker with Apple AirPlay. That means users can stream audio wirelessly from any iOS device or Mac/PC with iTunes. Windows and Android users aren’t left out, though; this device also has DLNA support.
Another perk is Audio Pro’s Direct Link feature, which allows users to stream music without a wireless network.
On the inside, the Allroom Air One has DSP processing, as well as two 1-inch soft dome tweeters and two 4.5-inch bass units. Those are are driven by a 100-watt amplifier (four 25-watt Class-D amps). If you need a little more oomph, feel free to hook up a powered subwoofer.
Other features include a USB port, a 3.5mm jack and optical digital TOSLINK inputs. It also comes with its own remote, with a free Audio Pro iOS app also available as an option.
“We know that a high quality wireless connection to a great sound system makes it easy to choose and enjoy music, that’s why Audio Pro has been designing powerful, easy-to-use wireless audio systems for years,” said creative director Mathias Pantzar. “Just like all music lovers who store and stream their music on laptop, desktop or i-device, we find easy access to high quality sound irresistible. Even so we’re amazed how quickly the transformation to wireless audio is progressing, and we hope that our latest addition to the Audio Pro wireless speaker family, the Allroom Air One, will help it along. There’s so much to get excited about and much more to come.”
Available in red, white or black, the Allroom Air One is priced at 700 Euros ($936 U.S.). Contact the company directly for information about U.S. dealers.
