Wi-Fi certainly has its limits. Amped Wireless wants to extend those wireless options, with its Outdoor Antenna Line.

The newly announced line includes two new outdoor antennas, the High Power 8dBi Omni-Directional Outdoor Wi-Fi Antenna Kit (model A8EX) and the High Power 14dBi Directional Outdoor Wi-Fi Antenna Kit (AD14EX). According to Amped, that AD14EX can extend a Wi-Fi range up to 1.5 miles.

Each model boasts a plug and play installation, with both wall and pole mounting kits included in each product’s purchase price. Each antenna boasts a weatherproof construction with corrosion resistance, and is compatible with any 802.11b/g/n wireless device that has a removable SMA antenna connector.

The A8EX is designed to extend the coverage of a wireless network in all directions, while the AD14EX (pictured) specifically focuses on a single direction—up to 1.5 miles. While not everyone needs that type of range, it can certainly come in handy if you have a big backyard or maybe even a little private waterfront property!

Amped also just announced the APC10 10-foot Antenna Extension Cable and the APC25EX 25-foot Outdoor Wi-Fi Antenna Cable, which can extended wireless antenna installations both indoors and outside.

All four products are shipping now. The 10-foot cable is priced at $24.99, with the 25-foot cable listed as $34.99. The A8EX antenna kit has an MSRP of $79.99, with the AD14EX kit selling for $89.99.
