Apparently, you can have everything. That’s good news, because we are really spoiled.

Sony continues to coddle us with the release of their HES-V1000 Home Entertainment Server. This baby features a 500GB hard drive and a 200-disc changer that can handle Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs.

In case you’re counting, that’s 137 hours of video, 40,000 songs or 20,000 digital photos—without even adding one disc. It’s also got a Blu-ray/DVD burner, scrapbooking and photo software, and optional wireless capabilities (you need to buy an extra adapter).

Another neat feature is that the unit can stream music through the home to devices like the PlayStation 3—10 devices with four independent audio streams total.

The unit is fairly priced at $3,500 and will be available next month. The press release says its organizing “the digital world.” Did they mean the entire world, in one device? Wow wee. We like.
