Power2U USB Outlet in Colors to Match Your Room
Now in new colors.
April 25, 2012 by Grant Clauser

NewerTech, a company that makes the Power2U wall outlets with built-in USB ports for charging your gadgets, now offers them in a selection of colors so your room won’t look funny.

So maybe this isn’t groundbreaking, but it’s still kinda cool. Cool enough that I want them all over my house.

When we moved into our new house one of the first things my wife wanted changed was all the outlet covers so they’d better match with the décor of the rooms. So what does a person do when they want to add one of these neat USB outlets but finds they’re only available in white? Not a problem anymore. But what if I want to charge my iPhone in my pumpkin orange bathroom?

The outlets are UL listed and available in three new colors: black, ivory, and light almost, plus the original white. With these you only need the USB cable (not the dopy little adapter) to charge your phones and tablets, plus you don’t sacrifice a socket by adding the USB port. Each unit includes two standard grounded sockets and two USB ports.

The MSRP for the outlets is $29,99 (about the price of a new iPhone wall adapter).
