We never get tired of hearing about new ways to control home control. Back in January, Home Automation, Inc. (HAI) announced an iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad app for the company’s Snap-Link product. Now, they want to deliver that same type of access to its Android-loving customers.
The company now says that they are wrapping up testing on Snap-Link Mobile for Android, with plans to release it in the Android Marketplace in April 2011.
Similar to both the PC version of Snap-Link and Snap-Link Mobile, this new app will offer control of any compatible HAI home or business from any Android mobile device. That means customers will be able to view real-time video and event logs, as well as control lighting, appliances, temperature gauges, window coverings, audio and much more — all from that Android device.
HAI says that one app can also control multiple setups.
Expect the Snap-Link Mobile for Android app to start selling in April, via the Android Market. HAI says that the app will have a one-time charge of $49.
