Polk Rocks Simultaneous Satellite Streams in the Home
The SR-H1000 allows Sirius subscribers to enjoy simultaneous streams throughout the house.
September 06, 2007 | by Rachel Cericola

It’s hard to leave that selection of satellite radio out in your driveway. With the SR-H1000, Polk Audio puts that killer content into your home’s A/V rack.

Add the Home Connect Tuner SC-H1, and you can have a two-stream/zone tuner blasting your favorite tunes in one room and your spouse’s selections on the other side of the house. It can even be hooked up for viewing song selections, artists and channel info on any TV.

It’s also easy to subject others to your music via the unit’s Instant Replay feature, which stores up to 44 minutes or your favorite for later playback—when the family least expects it. Sports fans can also use Game Alert and Game Zone options for instant team info and game action.

The unit also comes with a remote, which includes control features such as menu selection, channel preset jump, memory that stores up to 30 artist/song title information for later retrieval, channel scan, display brightness control, 30 channel presets and more.

The SR-H1000 will be available this month for about $350—which doesn’t include your monthly (or yearly) Sirius service fees.
