There’s still plenty of summer left; enough to start thinking about next summer’s outdoor audio system, anyway.

Luckily, Polk just announced its Atrium outdoor speaker system, which promises killer sound that blends into your landscape.

The Atrium Sat 30 looks a lot like an outdoor light fixture. It can be mounted on a deck, suspended from the porch, or poked into the ground. All of the mounting accessories needed to blend the unit into your backyard or other outdoor areas are included. Each of the two-way satellites features a 3.5-inch driver and 0.75-inch tweeter, promising 18 kHz.

Looking like a perfect spot for shrubbery, the Atrium Sub 10 subwoofer packs bass into a cabinet that looks more like a plant stand. Packing a 10-inch long-throw driver, the unit promises a bass response down to 50 Hz.

Both of the models are completely weatherproof, and will start shipping in January. The Atrium Sat 30 will run $179 each, with the Atrium Sub 10 coming in at $329.
