Polaroid’s PoGo Instant Mobile Printer uses ZINK photo paper, instead of standard ink cartridges.
Some of us don’t have a photographic memory. Maybe Polaroid had us in mind when they developed the PoGo Instant Mobile Printer.
This compact printer doesn’t need no stinking computer connections. It allows you to hook up a cell phone or camera on the fly, and print borderless 2 x 3 photos for all to enjoy.
However, it’s not just the PoGo’s compact size that makes us smile for this camera add-on. Geek.com says that the unit uses ZINK, which is Zero Ink paper—meaning no need to buy and change ink cartridges. Instead, you just buy a 10-pack of the paper and you’re ready to make memories.
The camera runs a respectable $150, with photos running another 33 cents each.
We were sad to see Polaroid dump its instant film earlier this year. Will this be the next step in instant gratification for photo enthusiasts? If you’ve got one, give us a snapshot of your experience in the comments section below.
