Thanks to ZINK technology, Polaroid’s portable printer doesn’t need ink cartridges or ribbons.

Remember when instant photo gratification was synonymous with Polaroid? Now the company is looking to regain that thunder via its USB-enabled Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer.

The poorly named product is about the size of a deck of cards, making it easy to print pictures from your camera or cell phone on the fly.

The unit is powered by ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology, which mysteriously delivers full-color photos without the need for ribbons or cartridges.

There weren’t too many other details, but PC Magazine says it’s expected to hit in Q2 for about $150.
