Pioneer Puts Home Theater Into Car
In case your cell phone, GPS and radio weren't enough of a distraction, Pioneer is throwing in options for DVD and TV!
October 22, 2006 by Rachel Cericola

Who can think about the road when a “Lost” cliffhanger is in our midst?? Thankfully, you don’t have to race home at record speeds—just flip on Pioneer’s new car entertainment system, (hopefully) pull over, and enjoy the show.

Featuring a 30-GB hard drive, a 7-inch LCD, GPS and a DVD player, each of the five systems also supports Bluetooth and hands-free calling (you need those to flip channels and make popcorn!).

Sadly, there’s no word on when the system might make it to the U.S., but something tells me that the number of accidents in Japan will be increasing sometime this month.

  • Five models total; 2 with TV tuners
  • 30-GB hard drive
  • Includes music server, DVD player and iPod connection
