Pinnacle’s OC HT 1 on-wall/on-ceiling speaker
Incorporating some in-wall and in-ceiling speakers into a theater room for a retro-fit project isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Pinnacle has designed an on-ceiling speaker that takes into account the desire for aesthetically blending a speaker into a room with an in-wall/in-ceiling feel to it.
Pinnacle’s OC HT 1’s circular cabinet of varying depths improves bass response, the company says, and can be positioned on the wall or ceiling as an unobrusive speaker system whose white piano gloss finish allows it to enhance the room’s decor.
With 1-inch silk dome tweeters and 5.25-inch polypropylene woofer and diecast phase plug, the speaker delivers frequency response of 110-20 kHz, according to Pinnacle. At 8 15/16 inches round it can look good on the wall or ceiling, depending on what kind of functionality for listening you are looking for.
The OC HT 1 includes metal perforated and cloth grilles, as well as on-ceiling and on-wall brackets. One goes for $349, while a three-pack has an MSRP of $999.
